Continuing education, further training in nutrition at a University of Applied Sciences (UAS) can be completed either as a Bachelor's degree course in nutrition and dietetics or as a consecutive Master's degree course. Universities also offer postgraduate courses in this field.
The admission requirements for postgraduate courses (CAS, DAS, MAS) may vary depending on the course offered and the school. As a rule, a tertiary degree and corresponding professional experience are required.
For a Bachelor's degree program in Nutrition and Dietetics UAS, a Matura (vocational, technical or Baccalaureate) or a College of Higher Education diploma in healthcare is required. In the case of a high school diploma, one year of work experience must also be completed.
