What are the requirements for continuing education, further training as a triathlon coach?
The following points must be fulfilled in order to complete the triathlon coach continuing education, Higher Education and Federal Diploma of Higher Education:
- Federal VET Diploma, Baccalaureate, Vocational Baccalaureate or Specialized Baccalaureate, certificate of secondary education or equivalent and at least 2 years of professional experience as a teacher in the chosen sport, amounting to at least 250 lessons within the last 3 years
or
- Professional practice as a teacher in the chosen sport for more than 5 years, amounting to at least 250 lessons during the last 3 years or more than 3 years of professional practice as a teacher in the chosen sport and a total of more than 10 years of professional practice in the field of sports education
In addition:
- for sports that are subsidized by Y+S and/or the ESA: highest Y+S and/or ESA recognition as a leader in your own sport and the training courses offered in your own discipline
- Association training as a teacher in the chosen sport
- Medical or rescue certificate, not older than 4 years
- Recommendation of the association responsible for the sport
