The continuing education, Purchasing Specialist with Federal Diploma of Higher Education consists of eight modules: Procurement Logistics, Project Management, Procurement Strategies, Price and Cost Structure Analysis, Finance and Accounting, Procurement Market Research (BMF), Supply Chain Management & Sustainability and Supplier Management. In the latter, participants gain an understanding of strategic supplier management, can segment the supplier base and improve supplier performance by means of quality management. They are also able to develop and implement supplier relationships. Supplier portfolio, supplier base management, relationship management and key figures are therefore important topics within this module.
