A paralegal performs a wide range of activities and can be found in very different areas. Legal research and legal writing are often part of his or her field of activity, i.e. legal research and drafting memos. Legal presentation (preparing presentations), fact finding (tracking down and sifting through extensive files), drafting documents such as minutes, contracts, notifications, applications, etc., administrative work, for example in debt collection, as well as various other tasks such as the administration of intellectual property rights or contract management are also part of their area of responsibility.
