Anyone who has found employment in property management or is self-employed in this field manages condominiums and rental properties. This includes organizing janitors and employees, obtaining quotes for repairs, renovations or conversions and monitoring construction measures. They are also responsible for letting and selecting residents, which also includes terminations, acceptance and handover. Depending on the contract and secondment relationship, property managers are responsible for managing other staff. They also carry out business management activities, such as the billing of operating costs, ancillary and heating costs, rent calculations and dunning procedures. In the case of condominiums, they are also responsible for preparing operating and maintenance cost statements for the property.
