On the one hand, there is the adult apprenticeship as a healthcare specialist. This requires two years of practical experience in the form of at least 60 percent employment in the health and social care sector. If you have this, you have a solid qualification with this nursing training.
If you want to make it easier for yourself to start a career in nursing, you can complete the SRC nursing assistant course, for example. This course is recognized throughout Switzerland.
You may also be admitted as a CHE nursing specialist, which is a good way to make a lateral entry. Nursing specialist CHE is a degree from a College of Higher Education and a continuing education, further training for people without a Matura. The qualification is a federal diploma.
