What skills does the CAS Data Privacy Officer teach?
The Data Privacy Officer (DPO) training course provides participants with the specialist skills required to work as a company data protection officer or data protection advisor in accordance with the revised Swiss Data Protection Act. The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679 is also taken into account. In addition to the technical and legal basics, participants in the CAS also gain practical knowledge about the implementation and requirements of data protection management systems (DMS) in their own company, the role of the DPO, the data protection law aspects relevant to contract design, data protection strategy development in the company and the technical aspects required to assess measures in connection with CISOs.
