As an energy consultant for buildings with a Federal Diploma of Higher Education, you are responsible for comprehensive advice and analysis and development of energy efficiency and building renovation, you are familiar with thermal insulation and thermal bridges, air exchange and moisture protection, can explain energy consumption and carry out measurements, recognize weak points in the building envelope and know which measures are suitable for renovation. After training in building energy consulting, you will have comprehensive knowledge of building ecology, transparent building envelopes and shading, renewable energies, applications for subsidies, building energy certificates and other certificates. As an energy consultant, you will coordinate the work between building owners, architects and tradespeople and provide customers with targeted advice.
