Welche Klassische Massage Grundgriffe werden in einem Massagekurs vermittelt?
Which basic classical massage techniques are taught in a massage course?
In a good massage course, you will learn all the skills that a professional masseur or masseuse needs. This also includes the teaching of basic classical massage techniques. These are covered both in theory and in practice using practical exercises. Basic massage techniques and their effects are taught. After the massage course, the aim is to master the movements and techniques of a full body massage. There are five different massage strokes or massage techniques, the sequence of which forms the actual classic massage:
- Effleurage (careful stroking of the skin)
- Petrissage (kneading and rolling the skin)
- Friction (friction of the skin)
- Tapotement (tapping the massage areas)
- Vibration (set the massage area into rapid oscillation)
Course participants learn how to perform basic classic massage techniques smoothly and respond to the individual needs of the customer. The aim is to recognize the weak points of the muscles and use classic massage techniques to relieve muscle tension and pain. Tense muscles are stretched and loosened by applying pressure and traction to the tissue and muscles. The basic classic massage strokes also improve local blood circulation and stimulate cell metabolism. The focus of the individual massage techniques depends on the type of massage in which they are used.
