What content must the learning hours have for Ayurveda EMR recognition?
For registration in the Empirical Medicine Register (EMR) with method group no. 22, Ayurveda, you must be able to demonstrate at least the following learning content in the areas of basic training and specialist training:
Basic training(at least 600 learning hours):
- Human anatomy and physiology
- Pathology
- Pharmacology
- Emergency measures
- Medical history and diagnosis
- Psychology
- Communication
- Hygiene
Specialist training(at least 500 learning hours)
- Ayurveda basics
- Ayurveda nutritional advice (method no. 24)
- Ayurveda massage (method no. 28)
Attention: From 1.1.2029, registration with method group no. 22 is no longer possible.
