The Federal Professional Examination (FPE) in Information Systems consists of four parts, all of which are taken in writing and last a total of 12 hours. It comprises the following examination parts: "General professional ICT skills", "Identifying and analysing requirements for information systems", "Planning and implementing business informatics projects", "Managing an ICT organizational unit".
