How long does training to become a mental consultant, coach or trainer take?
In order to complete a basic training course to become a mental trainer or mental coach, you need to complete an extensive course of study, which can be spread over a period of time of varying lengths. You can attend this form of training on a full weekend a month over eight months, or on one or two evenings a week over the course of a year.
Of course, there are also mental coaching courses that only last for a very short period of time, such as a few weeks or even just one or two days. In this case, we cannot speak of training, but rather of a short period of continuing education, further training. However, continuing education courses such as the MAS (4 years), DAS (3 semesters) or CAS (1 - 2 semesters) have a fixed duration.
