What training and continuing education, further training are there in the PR field?
There are a number of interesting training and further education courses in public relations that are suitable for people with a wide range of professional backgrounds. For example, you can currently choose between certificate courses, such as in Corporate Communications, and a course leading to the Federal Professional Examination in Public Relations. You can also train to become a public relations consultant with an Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE).
In addition, there are PR degree programs at universities of applied sciences that lead to a Bachelor's degree as well as a CAS, MAS or other diplomas. For example, you can earn a Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication or Organizational Communication, pursue a CAS in Corporate Communication or enroll in an MAS in Communication Management or Writing and Corporate Publishing.
