What tasks does a fire safety officer carry out after training?
After completing their training, fire safety officers have a wide range of skills, which they can demonstrate in the Federal Professional Examination (FPE). This includes the planning, implementation and monitoring of technical, structural and organizational fire protection measures (preventive). The main task is to ensure the required protection of property and people and to accompany renovation and new construction projects from the planning stage through to handover to the client. Fire protection specialists are responsible for advising, planning, executing, monitoring or implementing preventive fire protection measures for buildings of different uses and heights (depending on their training).
