If you want to work as a mental trainer or mental coach, you have various options for training and further education in Switzerland. As there is no federally recognized training in the non-university sector, there are a large number of different courses with different focuses, also because consultants, coaches or trainers are not protected terms. Only universities of applied sciences offer continuing education courses that provide you with comprehensive training in the field of mental training. These include, for example, the postgraduate course leading to the Certificate of Advanced Studies CAS Psychological & Mental Training in Sport (UAS).
If you do not have a license for this course or would like to continue your education in another way, there are, for example, certificate courses for mental trainers or mental coaches. Basic courses are often offered that provide an initial insight into this exciting subject area and then give interested parties the opportunity to build on this by attending further courses that even include SVEB 1, for example.
