Welche Abschlüsse kann ich erwerben?

The choice of training or continuing education, further training in the field of alternative and complementary medicine is immense and ranges from Ayurveda and homeopathy to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Traditional European Naturopathy (TEN). For each of these four alternative medicine specializations, you can take the Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) in Naturopathy with a federal diploma. This qualification, as well as the qualification as a "complementary therapist with a federal diploma" in one of over 20 methods defined by the OdA-KT, are considered professional qualifications in Switzerland.

But you can also obtain a qualification at lower levels: All courses can be completed with an internal school certificate. Some training courses run via Colleges of Higher Education with corresponding diplomas. Important qualifications are monitored and awarded by the two professional associations in the field of alternative medicine: the OdA-KT industry certificate from the Organization of the Working World (OdA) Complementary Therapy and the OdA-AM certificate from the OdA Alternative Medicine. The two industry certificates also form the basis for continuing education, further training for the federal diploma.
