What are my future activities as a sales manager?

Qualified sales managers are experts in the sales department of a company. They are responsible for the entire internal and external sales force, on whose skills and commitment the success of a company ultimately depends. It is therefore necessary for people working in sales management to have in-depth knowledge of sales/marketing in order to be able to create sophisticated and effective sales concepts that enable them to open up new sales territories and increase a company's profits. Sales planning is therefore just as much a part of the sales manager's remit as sales controlling and management.

As those responsible for key account management, specialists in this function are also entrusted with maintaining relationships with key customers, on whose loyalty a large part of the company's success depends. Furthermore, sales managers are responsible for training sales staff and work closely with specialists from controlling, logistics, production and accounting.
