Admission to the Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) for Head of Purchasing is granted to those who fulfill the following requirements:

• Federal VET Diploma, Baccalaureate or equivalent education

and

• 5 years of professional experience in purchasing, procurement, materials management or logistics

or

• Federal Diploma of Higher Education (professional examination)

and

• 3 years of professional experience in purchasing, procurement, materials management or logistics

or

• Federal diploma (Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE)), degree from a College of Higher Education, a University of Applied Sciences or a University

and

• 2 years of professional experience in purchasing, procurement, materials management or logistics

and

• Required modules or certificates of equivalence
