The requirements for the Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) in Art Therapy are as follows:
- Degree at tertiary level in one of the fields of healthcare, education, art or social work or degree at upper-secondary level (e.g. vocational education and training or Federal Vocational Baccalaureate, Specialized Baccalaureate or Baccalaureate)
- and passed the equivalence test for the requirements for a therapeutic profession GVB
- 2 years of professional experience in the fields of healthcare, education, art or social services (workload of at least 50%)
- Required module qualifications or certificates of equivalence
- Proof of case supervision (at least 20 hours with supervisors recognized by OdA ARTECURA)
