What are the parts of the AFPE examination for Head of Purchasing?
The Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) in Purchasing Management is very comprehensive and consists of a total of nine examination parts, including the diploma thesis written in advance and a subsequent oral examination. In addition, the written examination parts "Procurement Marketing", "Procurement Controlling", "Strategic Supplier Management" and "Sourcing Strategies" each last 1.5 hours. There are also oral examinations (45 minutes) in "IT in Procurement", "Corporate Management", "International Contract Law" and "Negotiation".
