The commercial apprenticeship with profile E is considered an extended basic education and requires an interest in learning, two foreign languages and economic contexts as well as academic performance. Students from secondary level A or secondary level M and E (mathematics and French) who have good grades are particularly welcome. In addition, the ten-finger system for keyboarding is a prerequisite for an apprenticeship as a commercial clerk with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training.
