What does an environmental consultant do?
Environmental consultants work in their field to develop and implement sustainable environmental projects, provide advice and training on environmental issues, are responsible for marketing and public relations and work specifically to protect the environment. Depending on the position, this means, for example, that they sensitize children and young people to the topic of consumption and sustainability, advise companies on all ecological matters or inform the public about various environmental education topics, such as the environmental compatibility of packaging and products, energy-saving measures, recycling or the appropriate use of fresh water.
