Fiduciaries work in the areas of finance, tax and private law and, depending on their training and continuing education, further training, occupy different functions within the fiduciary sector. They deal with issues relating to wealth and income tax, indirect taxes, value added tax, stamp duties, corporate capital and profit taxes, public administrative law and group accounts. This means that business management knowledge is also invaluable, as fiduciary experts have to work out optimal tax planning for companies in particular. Accounting, legal knowledge and knowledge of social security law and, last but not least, insurance products are also essential for working in the fiduciary sector.
