Commercial employees work in the offices of SMEs, i.e. small and medium-sized enterprises, but also in large or very large companies and corporations, where they take on a wide range of administrative tasks, depending on the industry and company. Commercial clerks are responsible for communication, information processing and payment transactions, handle salary payments, write letters to customers, obtain information, archive documents, make phone calls to suppliers, customers and employees, distribute and send out mail, update various databases and take minutes at meetings and negotiations.
