Was lerne ich in einem Nothilfekurs?
What do I learn in an emergency aid course?
It is important that help can be provided immediately in the event of an accident, whether it is a car accident or an industrial accident, a child falling from a tree or a deep cut with a kitchen knife.
For this reason, an emergency aid course teaches first aid and treatment for various injuries, including:
- Basics of emergency aid (What is first aid? Importance and responsibility in this regard, securing accident sites, raising the alarm correctly, situation analysis and self-protection)
- Immediate life-saving measures (e.g. consciousness control and positioning, artificial respiration and cardiac massage, use of a defibrillator, stable lateral position, hemostasis, application of a tourniquet)
- Recognize and act in other emergencies (including shock, burns, chemical burns, broken bones, wounds, heart attack, stroke, respiratory distress, poisoning, allergic reactions)
- Practical exercises in which realistic case studies are carried out.
