What is an HR assistant?
An HR assistant works in HR administration and takes on a wide range of tasks relating to a company's human resources. They are a central point of contact for employees and managers in HR-related matters and ensure that administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently.
The way they work can vary depending on the size of the company. In smaller companies, HR assistants often take on a wide range of tasks on their own, whereas in larger organizations they usually work in a team with other HR specialists.
Despite mostly regular working hours, there are more labor-intensive phases, for example at the end of the month or year or when there are major personnel changes. A certain degree of flexibility, organizational skills and discretion are therefore essential for this profession.
