What actually is PR?
The primary goal of PR, public relations or public relations work, is not necessarily to increase sales and customer purchasing behavior in the short term, but rather to build long-term loyalty, exert a positive influence and shape public opinion with the help of information and a wide range of marketing tools. A distinction is made between external and internal PR. This also means that public relations deals specifically with internal communication and, through a constant, compact flow of information, strengthens and stabilizes the relationship between employees, especially managers, and the company, as well as informing the public about company activities in various forms.
