There is no ideal form of continuing education, further training to become a procurement logistics specialist; it always depends on your previous education, professional experience and the position you have held to date. With a few years of professional experience in logistics, procurement, purchasing or materials management, for example, it may be a good choice to obtain continuing education, further training as a purchasing specialist with a Federal Diploma of Higher Education. Building on this, various continuing education, further training courses are available, be it as a supply chain manager, purchasing manager or in the field of logistics, all with a Federal Advanced Professional Examination (AFPE). Alternatively, however, a course or degree program at a University of Applied Sciences or university may be a more suitable choice, be it a CAS in Purchasing Manager or Supply Chain & Logistics Management or a Master's degree in MAS Supply Chain and Operations Management. An EMBA, an Executive Master of Business Administration UAS with a specialization in Supply Chain & Logistics Management, on the other hand, can be the right continuing education, further training for specialists and managers from the manufacturing industry to significantly advance their own career.
