Was ist der Unterschied zwischen einem Maschinenbaustudium HF und FH?

What is the difference between studying mechanical engineering at CHE and UAS?

In principle, you can take on identical positions and responsibilities in a company with a degree from a College of Higher Education (CHE) or a University of Applied Sciences in Mechanical Engineering. Which type of training you choose depends, for example, on how long you want to study and whether you want to continue working. It is currently only possible to study mechanical engineering full-time at a College of Higher Education; as a rule, this is completed while working and requires at least 50% employment in a related profession. The situation is different at Universities of Applied Sciences, which do not expect students to work during their studies. Another difference between Universities of Applied Sciences and Colleges of Higher Education are the options for continuing education, further training. For example, you can build on a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, mechanical technology or mechanical engineering sciences with a Master's degree or go on to further studies with a CAS, DAS or MAS.
