Was ist der Unterschied zwischen einem CAS und einem MAS in Effizienter Energienutzung?

What is the difference between a CAS and an MAS in Efficient Energy Use?

A CAS is a certificate course at a university, a Certificate of Advanced Studies, which usually earns you between 10 and 15 ECTS credits and is divided into several modules, which can often be attended individually and independently of a CAS if you are interested. Such a course is a continuing education, further training course at Universities and is offered on very different topics, including efficient energy use. It is often part of a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS). With a duration of six months to usually one year, the CAS course is quite manageable, in contrast to a multi-year MAS (Master of Advanced Studies), which can last up to three years and in rare cases even longer. An MAS, for example in Energy and Resource Efficiency, has a scope of 60 ECTS points, which can be acquired within a period of 1 to 5 years, and consists of 4 CAS and a Master's thesis.
