What is the difference between the hairdresser FPE and AFPE training courses?
The "FPE" and "AFPE" courses are continuing education, Vocational Education and Training courses for hairdressers with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (VET Diploma) who wish to specialize and have their knowledge certified by a further federal title. The term "FPE" means "Federal Professional Examination" and is the first federal further training step for hairdressers. After passing the Federal Professional Examination and gaining a few years of professional experience, it is then possible to begin the Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) to become a federally certified hairdresser and take the master's examination.
