A-Level English: What is the difference between the IB Diploma and A-Level?
The IB Diploma is less subject-specific than the A-Levels. The wide range and variety of subjects can lead to more learning effort for the A-level English.
Participants generally complete the A levels in three to four subject areas, while IB students choose six different subject areas, of which they must complete the "High Level" in at least three and at most four subjects, which are much more extensive and demanding than the "Standard Level".
While A-level students are basically simply taught and taught various subjects, IB students not only have to complete exams, e-learning and projects, but also write a research paper in each subject they take.
If you decide to study English A-levels, you should already know which direction you want to take in your future career. Those who are undecided are better off with the IB, as more options are open to them afterwards.
