Was ist der Unterschied zwischen dem HFP-Lehrgang Marketingleiter/in und dem NDS-HF?

What is the difference between the AFPE Marketing Manager course and the NDS-CHE?

The difference between the AFPE course in Marketing Management and the NDS-CHE lies in the content, duration and admission requirements:

  • Postgraduate studies CHE tend to be subject-specific (e.g. online marketing, marketing communication, etc.), usually build on a CHE degree and take slightly less time than AFPE courses.
  • AFPE courses build on the Federal Professional Examination and are geared towards management tasks.

The duration varies:

  • A postgraduate studies CHE usually takes 2-3 semesters, part-time.
  • An AFPE course lasts 3 - 4 semesters, part-time.

The admission requirements are different:

  • For a postgraduate studies CHE:
    • Federal Diploma of Higher Education and Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE)
    • or several years of qualified professional experience (with admission procedure)
    • or diploma from a College of Higher Education (e.g. business, technology, tourism)
    • or degree from a university or University of Applied Sciences (also abroad)
  • for an AFPE course as a marketing manager:
    • Federal Diploma of Higher Education from an industry-specific professional examination (e.g. marketing specialist), diploma from another Advanced Federal Professional Examination, diploma from a College of Higher Education or diploma from a University of Applied Sciences
    • 3 years of professional experience in a management position in marketing
    • orFederal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (VET) of at least 3 years, diploma from a recognized commercial or Specialized School or Matura certificate
    • 6 years of professional experience, including 3 years in a management position in marketing

The qualifications are roughly equivalent. To be on the safe side, check the admission requirements again directly with the educational institute of your choice.
