What is the difference between the Foreign Trade Specialist Cert. and the FPE course?
A certificate course for Export Specialist / Import Specialist or Foreign Trade Specialist, as this training is now called, is an advanced training course that awards you an internal school certificate if you pass the final examination, such as a "Basic Knowledge in Foreign Trade" certificate from the College of Higher Education for Foreign Trade. However, unlike a federal certificate, which you receive if you pass the Federal Professional Examination (AFPE), this is not a federally regulated continuing education, further training course that entitles you to take further training courses, such as Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE).
