Holders of a federal diploma as a purchaser still have the opportunity to obtain the federal diploma as a purchasing manager in a supplementary examination until the end of 2017. To do this, you attend a corresponding upgrade course during seven face-to-face events, then take a written and an oral examination and are upgraded to the new AFPE qualification (since 2011) without too much effort.
