The advanced training course to become a building energy consultant with Federal Diploma of Higher Education consists of seven modules. These are: Building Physics; Building Technology and Renewable Energies; Building Construction; Implementation Planning; Verifications and Funding Applications, Networking Workshop and a GEAK training course. You will cover topics such as the basics of thermal insulation and thermal bridges, air exchange and fire protection, as well as measurement technology, energy consumption, opaque and transparent building envelopes, shading, building ecology, weak points in building envelopes, electrical engineering, sanitary engineering, heating technology, air conditioning and ventilation technology, as well as renewable energies and the energy market. During the continuing education, further training in energy consulting, you will also cover the areas of thermal energy in building construction, applications for subsidies, creating and interpreting building energy certificates, building entry, thermal insulation certificates, legal bases, work contracts and orders, economic efficiency, resource planning, installation management, occupational safety, order completion, customer consulting and networking of the individual modules to become a building energy consultant.
