What exactly is a store manager?
A store manager runs a convenience store, petrol station store or other retail business on their own responsibility and also bears the entrepreneurial risk. They are often also franchisees. However, a store manager should not be confused with a branch manager, who reports to the head office, which is usually responsible for finance, goods purchasing and a large part of the administration and where the branch manager does not bear any entrepreneurial risk.
