Was genau ist eigentlich ein CAS?

What exactly is a CAS?

A CAS, whether in corporate communication, communication management, international communication or another focus area, is a certificate course at university level. CAS is an abbreviation for Certificate of Advanced Studies. Such a course generally requires a completed degree (at least a Bachelor's degree), whereby the subject area of the degree is irrelevant. Professional experience is also usually desirable. In the case of people with extensive subject-related practical experience, the school management may occasionally also admit people without a university degree. A CAS is a short course on a very specific subject area, usually lasting between six months and a year and a half, and is completed while working. It is often part of an MAS, a Master of Advanced Studies, for example in corporate communication, but can also be attended and completed individually.
