What exactly is the MAS Timber Construction?

The MAS in Timber Construction is a continuing education course which, if passed, leads to a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) and is worth 60 ECTS credits. It is particularly suitable for specialist planners and civil engineers, project managers, architects and timber engineers, but can also be attended by newcomers to the industry and career changers with the appropriate qualifications. The Master's course consists of four Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS), which are shorter courses on very specific topics, such as "Timber supporting structures", "Building with wood", "Building on existing buildings with wood" or fire protection and building physics in timber construction. After passing the individual CAS, a Master's thesis must be written, which forms the conclusion of this continuing education, further training.
