What does security assistant police training mean?
Security assistants support the police in various functions, for example as employees in the traffic sector, in property protection, in the police prison or as border control officers at the airport. Depending on the canton, they are deployed for different tasks:
- BS: Specialized in traffic, especially stationary traffic, with special tasks (prisoner transport, court planning, hospital security, major events)
- SO: Supporting the police in many tasks
- ZG: security, public order and traffic tasks mainly on behalf of the municipalities
- ZH: Police prison, border control
