Why do prospective students apply to universities of applied sciences to study civil engineering?
The education portal Ausbildung-Weiterbildung.ch asked people interested in studying civil engineering at a UAS about the reasons for enquiring about schools. The survey revealed the following results:
- 40 % were triggered by an online evaluation
- 40 % acted on a recommendation for a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 20 % asked the technical college because they already knew it
- A free text response says "Internet search result"
