Make-up artist requirements: What are the requirements for the Federal Professional Examination for Make-up Artists?
Anyone who decides to undertake continuing education, further training to become a make-up artist must fulfill the following make-up artist requirements by the time they take the Federal Professional Examination at the latest:
- Qualification as a Federal VET Diploma beautician or Federal VET Diploma beautician and at least two years' professional experience in make-up artistry
or
- Completion of another three-year basic training course and at least three years of professional experience in the field of make-up artistry and completion of the basic modules
and
- Required module qualifications or certificates of equivalence
