Spanisch-Diplom: Welche Voraussetzungen muss ich erfüllen, um an einer DELE-Sprachprüfung teilnehmen zu können?

There are not many requirements to take one of the five DELE (Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera) language exams organized by the Instituto Cervantes. If you attend a course at a language school that prepares you for a Spanish diploma, you will learn everything you need to pass the exam and you will receive all the information you need to register in good time. Nevertheless, it makes sense to know a few important points about the Spanish diploma now:

• Proof of nationality (Spanish must not be the official language of the country)
• Persons from Spanish-speaking countries who reside in a non-Spanish-speaking country must prove that Spanish is not the mother tongue of one or both parents, it is not the first foreign language learned, it is not the language of daily use, and schooling has not taken place, even partially, in this language.
