Sind ein MAS und ein Master in Economic Development dasselbe?
Are an MAS and a Master in Economic Development the same thing?
An MAS and a Master in Economic Development are not necessarily the same degree. Although an MAS, i.e. a Master of Advanced Studies, is also referred to as a Master's degree, it is a continuing education course that does not require a specific Bachelor's degree. Often, people with other higher degrees and several years of professional experience can also be admitted to this subject-specific continuing education, further training. For a consecutive Master's degree, i.e. a Master's degree that builds on a very specific Bachelor's degree, no professional experience is required, but only a Bachelor's degree in a related subject. Details on the exact admission requirements can be obtained from the Universities.
