Are the training courses recognized by the health insurance companies?
Training courses that have been recognized by the EMR (Erfahrungs Medizinisches Register) or the ASCA (Stiftung zur Anerkennung und Weiterentwicklung der Alternativ- und Komplementärmedizin) can be covered by supplementary health insurance. However, this requires comprehensive training, which is not offered by every school. Please always ask the schools directly whether the alternative medicine method you are interested in is also offered in accordance with EMR or ASCA guidelines.
