Are the training courses in hypnosis therapy federally recognized?
Hypnosis therapy training courses do not enjoy federal recognition. However, the training courses at some schools can be aligned with the new regulations of the EMR, the Empirical Medicine Register, for health insurance recognition. 150 hours of basic experience with autogenic training and 150 hours of basic medical training are required for recognition as a therapist. However, hypnosis as a method is not recognized.
