Becoming a legal psychologist: What does it take to become a specialist psychologist in legal psychology?
You need an FSP specialist title to become a legal psychologist. This corresponds to a federal specialist title in a health-related field and is awarded by the Federation of Swiss Psychologists. The SGRP determines the requirements necessary to obtain the specialist title of legal psychologist, reviews the application dossiers and forwards positive results to the FSP for recognition and awarding of the title. At least five years of practical experience and additional specialist training after completing a Master's degree in psychology are required to become a specialist psychologist in legal psychology.
