QV preparation KV: What does the QV KV or the QV examination KV EZF involve?

The qualification procedure for commercial clerks (QV KV) checks whether the required competencies have been achieved in accordance with the education ordinance and education plan. The examination is structured both at school and in the company and is weighted differently depending on the profile (B-profile or E-profile).

Structure of the QV examination KV EZF:

  • Early examinations
    After just two years of training, two subjects can be tested early in the E-profile:
    • IKA (Information, Communication and Administration)
    • Foreign language
  • School part of the final examination
    This takes place towards the end of the training and includes
    • Standard language (mostly German)
    • Foreign language (e.g. English or French)

    • Economy and Society (W&G)
    • In the E-profile additionally: second foreign language
  • Operational part of the final examination
    This includes practical examinations in the training company:
    • Professional experience in writing
