Muss ich, um Ergotherapeutin zu werden, unbedingt studieren?
Do I have to study to become an occupational therapist?
Training to become an occupational therapist is only possible in the form of full-time study at a University of Applied Sciences, leading to a Bachelor's degree. You will spend around two thirds of the time at the University of Applied Sciences, where you will receive your theoretical training, and one third of the time in practical occupational therapy training in the form of an internship. Building on the Bachelor of Science, you can then complete a Master of Science or various CAS courses if you are looking for interesting continuing education, further training.
