Do I have to be present at certain times on the Bachelor's degree course in Fine Art or can I choose my own study times?
Compulsory courses also have fixed times of the week and day in the Fine Art Bachelor's degree course, but these are the exception to the course. The majority of the study time can be arranged individually, so that students are able to work in the studio at exactly the time of day or night that suits them best. At the Universities of the Arts Bern, you will be given free access to the studio thanks to a lock card and will only take part in compulsory events such as work discussions, theory lessons and tutor meetings on Mondays and Tuesdays. The rest of the week is available for artistic practice.
